Tremendous Power Available

. .The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. James 5:16

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. 1 John 5:14-15

Confidence is important when we pray.  God says that when righteous people pray, tremendous power is made available!

We are not the power Source, but we are the ones that His power flows through on the earth. God’s power is made available to the object or person of our prayers.  John Wesley made this statement, "It seems God is limited by our prayer life—that He can do nothing for humanity unless someone asks Him."

God’s Word is always spoken before It is performed or manifested.  He is always looking for someone to utter His Words back to Him so His Words of life, of help and of power can be brought about in people's lives.
 
The absolute best way to pray for another person is to pray God’s Word over them. We never pray manipulative or short sighted prayers. We never pray “if it be your will” prayers over others. We pray God’s Word over each other.  For example:

Ephesians 1:17-18:  I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.

Ephesians 3:16-19:  I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
 
1 Peter 2:24:  I call you healed and whole in the Name of Jesus for by His stripes you were healed!

1 John 3:8:  Anything in your body not planted there by God, I call it undone, destroyed, loosened and dissolved in Jesus’ Name.

Psalms 23:  Because You are their Shepherd oh Lord, I thank you that their supply is full.  There is no lack, no want in their home.
 
It is always a good thing to pray in the spirit when praying for others as well as the Holy Ghost through us will pray out and utter things needed that we have no knowledge of.  Romans 8:26

Through our words and prayers, the body can be built up and strengthened on a daily basis!
