Jesus Paid it ALL!

Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole. Isaiah 53:4-5

When Jesus went to the cross to pay the penalty of sin for you and I, He didn't just go to the cross in His spirit man.  He went to the cross spirit, soul and body.  His sinless, life giving Blood flowed not only to wash away our sin, but to remove the effects of sin (death in every form) in every area of our lives!  

Confession:  Jesus is my Lord.  He washed away my sin.  I am clean.  I am righteous in Him.  He bore a crown of thorns and His Blood flowed for my soundness of mind and peace and well being, and with the stripes that wounded Him, my body is healed and made whole.
